There has been much talk over the last few years about Campaign Finance Reform on the national level. The primary concern is that our national government officials may be too easily influenced by groups, organizations, or companies with "special interests."  This would lead them to put the interests of these few ahead of the interests of the rest of us.
Does the United States need significant Campaign Finance Reform?  If so,  ...what changes do you suggest?  ...what rights and/or freedoms would these changes try to protect?  ...what rights and/or freedoms might be in danger from proposed changes?
